I love working with Enhance because...
my role brings great variety, I am able to support individualised, child centric, home based education as an additional care type within the sector, to connect with likeminded educators, colleagues and professionals, to navigate the Education and Care sector at a Department level and to be a part of a village that supports the family unit to participate within the workforce and their community as a whole. I would describe my role for Enhance as;
an advocate for exceptional home-based care, to prioritise the wellbeing, rights and safety of the child, guiding the growth and professional development of like minded educators and to grow, develop and monitor governance and compliance measures within our organisation.

How long have you been with Enhance?
I started as FDCAQ CEO in August, 2018
I love working with Enhance because...
I love Enhance FDC because of the impact our Educators and team have on the lives of children and families is profound, it shapes the society I want to live in and knowing that what we do now has a lifelong impact on our children and our community. We have some of the best FDC educators from across Australia who are passionate about FDC and their skills, knowledge and expertise are second to none. Everyday children in our care are being nurtured and supported to realise and become who they are. There is a dedicated and diverse team supporting them particularly now with so many changes and I love that our Educators are with us because they want to be in a national leading service.
I would describe my role for Enhance as;
My role is the chief advocate, supporter, challenger and champion of educators. In my role I listen and respond to Educators and other stakeholders to ensure that Educators have the resources, systems, information, training, support and mentoring in place to ensure their success in providing exceptional home based education and care. I also promote there incredible work and practice, and advocate to government on policy and regulations that impact them. I also take my responsibility to the safety and well-being of children seriously, as do our educators, and ensure that we collectively put everything required in place to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
Hobbies
Yoga, Gardening / Indoor gardening, hiking, biking, running, boxing, travel, camping, beach and swimming, live music, concerts, festivals, theatre, museums, art galleries, art, craft, painting, learning new things/workshops, animals / pets, volunteering
Favourite Song / Artist
I am not one for favourites. Find it very difficult to choose one. I am so eclectic in my tastes. Long time favourites (it is so hard to choose), Mozart, Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, Jeff Buckley, U2, REM/Gorillaz, Missy Higgins, Jack Johnson, Ministry of Sound. Current favourites are - Sean Rowe, Hawksley Workman, Trevor Hall, Jacob Collier, Electric Fields, Tones and I
