Family/Guardian Survey

We want to hear from you!

Complete the family/guardian survey

What matters most to you?
As we plan for 2023, we would like to know how we can best support you and your family.

Please complete the short survey below to let us know, confidentially if you so choose, how we can improve our service. The feedback you provide us with will help us improve our support to you.

The survey is broken into two parts. Firstly, tell us how we can improve as a Family Day Care Service; including finding an Educator, orientation and ongoing support. Secondly, let us know how your Educator is supporting you and your family.

The survey is multiple choice, with additional space for comments. We encourage you to complete the survey by Wednesday 7 December by clicking on the button below:

Thank you for taking the time to have your say!

Kind regards
The Enhance FDC Team

Sorry Day & National Reconciliation Week

This week, Enhance Family Day Care are committed to acknowledging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples by reflecting on Australia’s true history on National Sorry Day. We are exploring how we can commit to playing a role in the healing of the nation and make an impact during National Reconciliation Week and Sorry Day this year.

We have been working with Reconciliation Australia over the last few weeks to finalise our Reconciliation Action Plan, which we look forward to sharing with you soon.

What is National Reconciliation Week (NRW)?
The dates for NRW remain the same each year; 27 May to 3 June. These dates commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey, the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision.

Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We all have a role to play when it comes to reconciliation and in playing our part we collectively build relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures and futures.

Please share any events or traditions your family will undertake to mark NRW with your Educator, as this will give them the opportunity to extend on your child’s learning and help scaffold your child to share their experience, knowledge and understanding with their peers.

Balancing - Child Care Subsidy

Balancing happens every financial year and is way to ensure that parents have paid the correct amount of out of pocket costs for child care. This is worked out after the family has reported their income and has completed their tax return with the Australian Taxation Office.
